Maybelline Baby Lips : Coral Flush Review

Those soft looking kissable lips that every girl desires ( and for that matter the boys in there lives more :P ) very few are really born with it so when you see a girl with it May Be She's Born With It or May Be It's Maybelline!!!!!!

So after the really cheesy opening lines that i just wrote ( okay, fine yes i do know that was cheesy ) i would like to make a confession : since last year when the Maybelline Baby Lips were launched  i have not yes you heard it right I HAVE NOT USED ANY OTHER LIP BALM!!!!!!!!!!

Now you ask why???

Oh! My God you guys i swear on anything that i love on this earth that these are the best thing i have ever applied to my lips forever and ever in my life. These actually make my lips feel like they are as soft as a baby's. And one bonus that they come with : they are tinted

What else can you ask from a lip balm from a drugstore brand and that price range.!! They are total total total value for money and i wouldn't have even mind buying them even if they were higher on the price range ( but that is totally hypothetical, any one out there who's reading this you guys are genius and the price range is amazing :P ).

                                                                      Coral Flush

I love all the colours from the baby lips range but the one colour that i have used the most is Berry Crush (review coming soon ).

I love Coral Flush. It is very lightly tinted but totally works for me. It is perfect for those days when you are not feeling like wearing lipsticks and lip glosses this is a great alternative to give that hint of colour without going over the top with it.

Pro's :

  • Extremely moisturising. Lips feel hydrated even after 4-5 hours.
  • Tinted. I love the very light hint of coral that gives to my lips.
  • Super affordable.
  • Has SPF16.
  • Smells great.
  • Super Cute Packaging.
  • Comes in 7 different varients.

Con's :

  • NONE!!!!!!!!!

Price :  Rs.150 for 4.5g

Will I Repurchase ? : Yes, Absolutely, Always and Forever.

Note : All the products are purchased by me with my own money and the review is totally based on my personal experience.

Know when to toss your makeup!!!!!!

As everything in this world, our makeup also has the right to take rest , to go to heaven and have piece!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! You simply didn't get what i was trying to say!!!!!!

Ok i'll help you to understand better. We accept this or not our makeup products do have a life i.e, they do expire out. As much as you might love that mascara of yours from Mac it does die after three months.

So, in this post i'll tell you after how much time you should let go of your lovable and deary makeup products so that next time you go and buy them you can spend more wisely ;) .

  • Mascara- 3 months.

  • Concealer- 3 months to 1 year.

  • Eyeshadows- several years.

  • Eye and Lip pencils- several years.

  • Lipsticks- 1 to 2 years.

So, at the end i would say these time periods are the average taken for every product, but if something looks discoloured or smells bad before this time, discard it.

So, if you guys have some special topics that you want me to talk about let me know in the comments. till then take care my beauties!!!!!! See you soon in blog land!!!!!!

Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara Review

Some people i feel are so blessed , they have long and fuller looking lashes naturally , afterall.

One of my cousin has damn big and full lashes any body can feel J looking at them and i am one of those people ( Dear R, I love you but love your lashes more) but I fall in the section who have ok ok lashes (if that actually means something). I mean in volume they are fine but in the department of longetivity they lack behind.

To be frank enough i haven't tried many mascaras because by chance Mayebelline Collosal Volume Express was my second mascara that i used in my life and i am stuck with it since. It is a value for money. Being a drugstore mascara it can easily compete with the high street brand one's and can win hands down.

And i don't find spending a lot of money on mascaras because they anyhow dry out in about 3 months so i am a loyal supporter of drugstore mascaras.

This mascara has been here for some time and it is definetly here to stay for long. It comes in two variants- waterproof and regular.

Pron's

  • It gives volume in one stroke.
  • It doesn't flake.
  • It doesn't clump on your eyes.
  • It is safe for people with sensitive eyes.

Con's

  • It can make the lashes a bit stiff.
  • The waterproof variant is hard to take off.

Price- Rs.350

Will I repurchase?- Yes

My First Post Ever!!!!!!!!!

It's been a long long long time since i thought i'll do this........ Today the day finally has arrived......

Wasn't that just too Miss Universe speech kinda line :P . But the thing is i am totally blank to how to start with this blog so i just wrote whatever popped into my mind.

So, for everyone to know my name is Akanksha. I am a 21 year old Delhi based girl who loves everything from chocolates to stilletoes (which i hardly ever get to wear coz i am 5'5'' and others around me look too tiny if i wear heels) and makeup to clothes, basically EVERYTHING GIRLY!!!!!!!!!

Taking up blogging was a medium to me to share the little knowledge that i have of makeup and clothes with all of you. I have always been the person in my house who either gets ready for a wedding or function in the very beginning or in the car itself because i am helping my mom, cousins, aunties and every other female member present at the moment. :P I do their makeup , i help them choose their clothes and the jewellery that will go with their dresses and what not.
And as a result i am the one left with the questions- what should i wear ?? how should i make my hair??  Huh!!!!

So, after the long story i just wrote :P now i would like to come to the point... In my blog you will find my honest reviews about the makeup products , clothing hauls, OFTD aka Outfit Of The Day,
some makeup looks and some accounts from daily life ( the interesting ones for that matter).

Now, i end this post with the promise that i'll be honest in all my reviews and be punctual :D.

See you in my next post. Until then take care my lovelies!!!!!! See you soon in the blog land!!!!!! <3 <3  xoxoxo
